Lavori in corso,i

“Lavori in corso, i” is a ceramic artist workshop based in Piedmont, Italy. Together, we worked to create photography content for the brand’s social media profiles.

The brief was to create images that would:

• showcase the objects in a clean and simple way, with a clear background, perfect for use on the brand’s online shop

• give an insight into the artist’s workflow in her workshop

• present the objects in a familiar, everyday context, highlighting their possible use and/or their unique shapes and textures

When editing and preparing the images for delivery to the client, I kept in mind the different uses the images were going to have. Product photos for the online shop required a clean and bright edit, while other images allowed for a touch of colour grading, bringing a bit of storytelling into the picture.
