Hidden treasures

One of my favourite ways of enjoying photography is walking in the forest without a set destination in mind. I like to wander in between the trees and the ferns, discovering and observing small details, little things that could easily be overlooked.

A small imperfection on a leaf, a fern’s repeating pattern, a tiny ant on its way to somewhere. The forest is a bustling and busy environment, full of life and full of details - witnessing this spectacle is a truly calming and therapeutic experience.

Much of my photography work is centred around this - finding nature’s beauty in the small things and its tiny details, hoping that it will inspire people to appreciate nature in all its forms and sizes.
